Make them as cool summer shorts-hot pants or rompers ; with the “bib” or without - they are easily altered as they are worked from the waist.
The cute little bodice and hipster shorts would be great as dance outfits. The shorts could easily be reworked as a wide hip band to attach a skirt or fabric pieces to.
Or just make the bodice to wear with jeans... A good value pattern and well designed /explained ( I am happy to help too).
